National Science Foundation Carbon Resilient and Power Energy Systems 2024 Cohort

This program was an invaluable opportunity, providing me with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the field of power engineering. The supportive faculty at Clarkson University, cutting-edge research projects with the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO), and collaborative environment with graduate students and professionals have all contributed to an enriching and inspiring summer. I am incredibly grateful for this experience and am confident it will have a lasting impact on my academic and professional journey.

I was able to publish a paper on The Uncertainty Reserve Requirements for 9GW of Offshore Wind on the New York Power Grid. This work allowed me to have the opportunity to collaborate with a few folks from the NYISO, and be able to present my findings to them as well.
