Lou's Restaurant Decarbonization

For Current & Future Technologies course within the MET program, I worked alongside three other group members to decarbonize a local restaurant, Lou's. Restaurants are known to be very inefficient with heat and cooling, so our goal was to find affordable ways to reduce energy waste and reduce electricity costs.

Our final report and presentation displayed a pathway for energy efficient appliances, solar panels, and a heat pump. Additionally, we provided grants and incentives that could be applied to reduce cost.
