How Changing Climate Impacts Maple Sap Production

Climate Science course during the fall term of Master's of Energy Transition program at Dartmouth College.
For Climate Science course during the fall term of the MET program, I alongside a great group researched how sap production may be impacted from changing climate. We discovered that warmer climates impact soil moisture and temperature which influences the flow of sap. Additionally, we identified that there are fewer sap production days in regards to temperature.
My role was data analysis, so I collected data and used MatLab to produce graphs displaying what the data showed. More specifically, the graphs showed correlation between soil moisture, soil temperature, and snow pack.
